What’s in a logo?

You may find yourself wondering about our logo,
“What does this logo mean?”
“Why is their a shape?”
“Why did they choose this?”

Well hopefully this post answers these! Here is a little history behind our logo. 😁

The original logo used by Ponder and Pray included an Adirondack chair, the Trinity Knot (triquetra), and a ring of flowers.

• The Adirondack chair with its slanted seat symbolizes rest, that it’s time to stop striving and sit still.
• The Trinity knot (the “shape”) symbolizes eternity and the interconnectedness of life emphasizing the Holy Trinity.
• The circle of flowers symbolize unity and wholeness . The flowers are a gift. A symbol of love and appreciation.

When we take time to be still, we choose a vulnerable posture.  Here we let down our defenses, resist our busyness, and trust the unforced rhythm of God’s grace. In this moment we embody a sense of wholeness and oneness. We identify as the beloved and embrace others as beloved. This is where we see the flowers bloom and love spread.🪻🌸🌼
